Kino heard the comotion once he set foot on the road.

"Oh for the love of the Gods. I can't get a break can I?!"

Kino ran down the street after him.

Kalien caught a single glimpse of Kino, and started running even faster. He wasn;t headed for the gates of the city, however- he seemed to be bent on losing himself in the back alleys.

"Hey!" Kino had to try his best to run faster and faster. He was starting to catch up thanks to his long legs.

"Slow down! I'm not going to hurt you! In fact.." Kino said a bit out of breath, "Perhaps, you can help me!!"

"Not bloody likely!"

Still at a dead run, he delpoyed his hookshot, and ocne again took to the roof., calling back over his shoulder as he kept going.

"As I recall, it was your partner who helped me out before."

[Tilted Halo]

Kino took out his hook and followed the theif.

"Oh come on!" Kino shouted, "Cut me a break here, I could have been a hard head and arrested you!"

[Cole Deschain]

"And that's not what you've got in mind now?"

He kept sprinting across the rooftops, headed for one of the high walls surrounding the town.

"No dice, Sheikah."

[Tilted Halo]

"Grr, No! That is NOT what I have in mind!"

Kino continued his chase with little effort.

Reahcing the wall, he once again used his hookshot, catapulting himself up to the battlements.

"Forgive me if I disbelieve you."

Kino gathered his hookshot in his hand and finally caught up to the wall, he swinged himself on the edge.

"I'll reward you." he offered.

[Cole Deschain]

"With what? Time off for good behavior? No thanks."

He ran for the outer edge pf the wall and dove over the side. Kino could hear his hookshot firing back upas he slowed his fall just seconds above the moat. He dropped into the outer moat with an audible splash, Polly fluttering into the sky to avoid an unscheduled bath.

Kino huffed a sigh. He ran the wall and looked over the edge. He felt tears well in his eyes.

"Who am I kidding? I'm never leaving this place.."

Kino sat down on the wall and just looked out into space.

Kalien swam across the moat as best he could, clambering out on the other side, soaked to the skin.

He lay on his back, staring up into the sky. Polly fluttered down to land on his chest, peering into his face.

"What? You can't tell me you liked it there. The Law's too persistent."

[Tilted Halo]

Kino finally got himself together.

"Forget it. I can't think like that."

He took his hookshot and dove over the side, he slowed his fall. The water was making Kino nervous. His clothing was sticking to him and his face mask was sliding off. It was showing bits of who he really was. He pushed the thoughts aside and swam as fast as he could.

He made it to the shore to see the thief and the bat.

"I wouldn't chase you all the way only to arrest you. I could care less." he said lifting his body out of the water. Kino unhooked his weapons and threw them on the floor. "I mean you no harm."

Kalien looked at the weaposn built, then at the Sheikah. There was something...

"Uh- your uh, shirt..."

He pointed with his left hand, his exhaustion and shock overwhelming his natural inclination to flee.

Kino fluffed it out. His face mask had fallen off to reveal a young face.

"It's nothing!" He said folding his arms over his chest. Kino looked at him.

"Well, we aren't where we were. I guess I did get out of there after all. My tribe is going to kill me. Toru is going to kill me."

Kino fell to the floor on his butt and scooped his legs close to his chest.

"Well, not that it's my place to say anything, but if someone wants to ill you, holding still is a bad idea."

The sodden Ordonian staggered to his feet, while Polly scuttle up to his left shoudler, her lttle doglike face peering over inquisitively.

[Tilted Halo]

"Where are you going?" Kino's eyes shifted to his.

[Cole Deschain]

"In the general direction of away."

He shrugged, Polly's head bobbing as he did so.

"I was thinking either Kakariko Village or Lon Lon Ranch for starters."

[Tilted Halo]

"Those places aren't so far."

Kino got up. "Please, I have to go with you."

[Cole Deschain]

"Go. Stay. I ain't keeping you."

He seemed to be taking a siting off of the sun.

[Tilted Halo]

"Well," Kino said a little surprised, "let's go then, if you are ready.."

Kino smiled.

[Cole Deschain]

He regarded Kino withthe closest thing to pity his face could muster.

"'Let's' go? Let me make one thing clear- you're here quite against my wishes. So if you insist on foloowing me, so be it. But never forget that I, for one, do not regard the two of us as 'we.' Understood?"

Without waiting for a reply, he started walking, evidently in the direction of Lon Lon Ranch.

Kino shurgged his shoulders and followed him close behind.
