Name: Unknown, refers to himself as Imp
Race: Hylian
Age: 12
Height: 5’
Weight: 85 lbs
Eye color, Type: Brown, narrow
Hair color, Style: Brown and long, down to his back.
Fairy Name/Color: no fairy
Nationality: Hylian
Description: Imp is a small, thin, partially emaciated boy. Though he is strong for his age and extremely fit, it doesn't show much due to his age, and he appears small like any child. He is somewhat cute, a trait which proves to be one of his meal tickets. He wears rags and homemade leather armor.
Personality: Imp is strong willed, optimistic, and energetic. He is obsessed with becoming strong and powerful, and does whatever he can to train. He tends to be both hard and hotheaded, refusing to admit defeat and easily loosing his cool. He is starting to show signs of adolescence, which might become either a curse or a blessing. He has idolizes the Sheikah, and wants to be one, despite having been told that his reckless personality makes that goal impossible.
Weapon: wooden sword
Shield: A chunk of wood with leather nailed, strapped, and glued to its front, and a handle nailed to the back. It’s obviously homemade, and he definitely had some assistance. The nails facing outwards like spikes, and the indecipherable markings painted on it with blood (most likely Imp's) make it look surprisingly scary.
Sub-weapon: His fists, feet, and, whenever he feels like it, teeth.
Inventory: Two bottles
Skills: Survival skills, persuasive skills, stealing, stealth, swimming, and hunting.
History: Imp was an orphan roaming the alleys and gutters of Castle Town since he could remember. He didn’t have a name at first, however, after stealing and looting garbage containers to survive for years, he found himself being commonly referred to as “scavenger,” “rat,” “urchin,” and “little Imp”. He eventually decided that, since people already called him those names, he’d choose one for his full-time name, and ha chose the one he liked best, Imp. (Though rat proved to be a tempting offer as well.)
When Imp was about eight, he met a group of fellow urchins such as himself and befriended them. Amid this group, he met a young Hylian who would prove to be his closest friend, a seven-year-old girl named Dove. Dove taught Imp many tricks and tips for survival, including how to persuade a penny-pincher, and how to use a child’s cuteness to their advantage. A fast friendship was developed, not just by Dove and Imp, but by the entire gang, which was becoming more and more like a family.
The family thrived for about two years, however, as the members grew older, they also grew more heartless. The teenage members of the group, including Dove’s brother Dane, began to care less about the group and more about themselves. They began fighting and before long the group had fallen apart, with each teenager taking his own following with him.
Though things where over for the gang, Dove and Imp believed and agreed that, for them, things would last. Innocently, Imp and Dove began planning for their futures, and Imp, though he barely understood the concept pf love, promised Dove that he would become a strong and powerful hero, and then, take her as his wife.
Though the two kids planned to live happily ever after, Dane had his own plans for getting out of the gutters and becoming a successful man. He new what sex was, and knew that there where plenty of men out there who would pay a fortune for it. He also knew that Dove, in a few years, would be exceptionally pretty, and worth a fortune. When Dane found out about Imp’s plan he immediately staked his claim on Dove, and, along with his less than willing followers, attacked Imp.
Imp fought back as best he could, but he was no warrior. Imp found himself loosing consciousness, with Dove’s screams and pleas for mercy being his last memory of Castle Town. When he woke up, he was lying just outside of Castle Town in Hyrule Field. Knowing that running back into the town would get him killed, Imp wandered into Hyrule Field, where he would wander for about a month learning how to survive in the wild and searching for a place to call home. He eventually wandered into Kakariko Village, where he found himself accepted by the friendly townsfolk.
Imp was quite comfortable in Kakariko, the villagers fed him and allowed him to stay at the inn, but he couldn’t forget his past or his promises, and physically trained himself every day. One day, a Sheikah warrior stopped at the village. She spent the night at the inn, and, before setting out the next day, spent several hours with the village children, telling them tales of her adventures and explaining the importance of Kakariko Village to the Sheikah. Before she left a small boy named Imp ran up to her and demanded that she train him in the way of the Sheikah. Though she could not grant his wish, the Sheikah gave Imp a training katana, and instructed him to train with it regularly and take good care of it.
Imp can still be found in Kakariko, training harder than any other member of the village. He can be found in the graveyard, beating a scarecrow and blocking imaginary strikes with his jury-rigged shield. Though he trains hard, he desires to be trained by a real master someday, preferably one of the noble Sheikah.
