History: No one can rightly tell you where Art is from. His parents are two Hylians, who’ve adopted him. They live on a small fishing Island. One day, a ship housing slaves stopped at the island, which caused a commotion. One of the ships workers herded a few slaves to the island to auction them off. All were under fed and dirty. Neither of Art’s parents were fertile, and neither wished to adopt a kid, but when they saw Art, a malnourished child of two, with matted hair, and worn clothes they knew he had to be theirs. The couple purchased him for 13 rupees. To this day, they say it was worth every penny. Other Islanders feared the island would be ravaged by Gerudo looking for the lost ordonian boy mistaken as a Gerudo, but no such thing happen.
Art’s parents were good friends with another couple, whose son, Bing, had frail insides. Bing’s parents rarely let him out side for fear of him hurt himself. Art’s parents would force Art to have play dates with Bing, because Bing had only one friend, Sobe, the toughest girl on the island. She was the youngest, and the only girl out of her siblings, and had no father. Art hated the play dates. Bing and Sobe were the butt of jokes that other islander kids told, and Art felt he didn’t need another reason other then his race to be teased. After a short time, Art realized he liked Bing and Sobe. The three would spend days playing adventure: fighting (or being) pirates, saving princesses (who were more often then not played by Sobe), and being knights or wizards.
The Ordonian’s parents taught him how to fight at a very young age, though they did not promote it. They tried to enforce using words first, then if that fails, kick their hiney. Since Art had an infinity for the old salts he learned some technique from them, mostly nasty and dirty trick. Him and Sobe would duel with each other. Bing would became board not being able to join in, so he learned magic. While they fought he would flick fire and ice balls at them.
In Art’s tenth year, as Bing parent always feared, Bing’s lungs collapsed in on him while he slept. Art was crushed by his friend’s death. He ran away to the wilderness when the news broke. Sobe found him a week later with blood shot teary eyes. She greeted him with a punch to his gut. She cursed him for not being there when she needed a friend. And scolded him about how selfish he was, especially when considering Bing’s parents. Maybe it was the way Sobe punched him, his ordeal is the woods, Sobe’s lecture or a combination of all three that made Art change his attitude that day. He began watching out for all the little guys, and trying to notice people’s lives outside out of his own. He soon became the good deed doer of the island.
Art Became a fisherman like most of the islands boys when he turned 14. Since he was a newbie, he would get only the catch left over from the experience sailors. He got a second job at the Good Ship Venus Diner, the best diner on the island (they claim to be the best diner in the whole Tetra Isles, but it’s doubtful if anyone has herd of them). There, he became an extraordinary cook. Things seem to be going perfect for Art, if it wasn’t for the restless feeling. Art began working to make a sea-faring boat. His dad gave him a pictobox and told him to take lots of pictures, and his mom told him to send an occasional letter saying he’s not dead. As soon as his boat was blessed by the goddesses fortune, Art bid his friends & family good bye, then shipped out. He remembers when he was little and how he would used to play adventure with his friends, he figures it time to really do it.
