Wooden Sword
Description: A simple wooden sword, usually of medium length. It might have some string/rope, perhaps colored, wrapped over its hilt, or designs carved into its 'blade'.
Capabilities: More effective than a stick, it hits like a wooden bat(and may break like one too).
Value: The most value that can come from this is aesthetic value, as in combat it is a very difficult and unwise weapon of choice against tough opponents. It works well in terms of driving away wild monsters, though, and is made easily and abundantly, so it is popular amongst amateur adventurers and collectors. The value in price may depend on the craftsmanship.
Availability: Because they are useful for easy traveling and are made easily and abundantly, they can be found in pretty much any set of civilization.

Boomerang
Description: A boomerang that can look different depending on a region it was made.
Capabilities: Under a skilled user, a boomerang can be an effective tool as it is capable of cutting through simple ropes and wires with a good swing, can stun opponents, and comes right back to the user.
Value: Although smaler than wooden swords, boomerangs are more difficult to make because of the skill in making them as aerodynamic as possible, and thus fetch a prettier penny than most wooden items.
Availability: Difficult to make, they are nonetheless made plentiful, and most major cities should have them. They can be found out in the wild as well, as remainders of lost adventurers.

Grappling Hook
Description: A long rope with a metal clawed javelin attached to one end.
Capabilities: If swung properly, a grappling hook will latch onto almost any surface provided there is something to hook onto, and allow for climbing and swinging.
Value: Another handy item for adventurers, a practical must-have as considered by some people. It is a bit expensive simply because rope is expensive in and of itself.
Availability: Any town with a good smith can make grappling hooks.

Wooden Shield
Description: A one-handed shield, usually designed in an orbular or spade fashion and comprisd entirely of wood save its leather straps for holding it. Depending on the region or maker, it may have an interesting engraving on the front.
Capabilities: If crafted well it can block against many a sword attack. However with a powerful enough strike it could shatter into splinters, and it is quite flammable.
Value: Like wooden swords, the price depends on the craftmanship, but it is usually cheap.
Availability: Again like wooden swords, they are very easy to come by.

Blue Jewelry
Description: Blue Jewelry comes in either a bracelet or ring format, with a sapphire jewel embedded into it. It glows when the wearer is struck in some fashion.
Capabilities: A special kind of equipment made in such masses by witches and wizards that it is one of the easiest magical items to concoct, Blue Jewelry is capable of actually buffing some of the force from strikes upon an opponent, in a way boosting their defense.
Value: One of the most expensive common items to be found, one must be careful for merchants who attempt to peddle simple blue jeweled items as authentic Blue Jewely.
Availability: Only in major cities, or by luck, at the home of a magician.

Grip Ring
Description: A simple-looking copper ring. If you look closely you can see the imprint of an animal's claws on the top.
Capabilities: Another magical item even easier to make than Blue Jewely, it gives the user an unparalleled ability to grip things very well, allowing for grappling and climbing to be done more easily.
Value: Slightly less expensive than Blue Jewelry because it is easier to make. However it has the same fraud hazard, as some victims would consider themselves being able to grip something better simply by a placebo effect.
Availability: Only in major cities, or by luck, at the home of a magician.

Bomb
Description: A round, stoney, usually navy blue or black ball that ranges from the size of a grenade to the size of a large cannonball. It has a fuse attached to it.
Capabilities: The bigger the bomb, the bigger the boom. One can customize the length of their fuses for specifically timed explosions.
Value: The bigger the bomb, the higher the cost.
Availability: Bombs are in high demand for upstart adventurers, and thus can be found in any major city.

Metal Shield
Description: A shield made of metal, sometimes with a painting/engraving on the front.
Capabilities: The ultimate defense for an upstart, it will not come aflame or shatter from great impact(but it might dent/bend under pressure, or become too hot to hold). It's downside is that it is much heavier to wield and thus makes it hard to use when compared to the much lighter wooden sword.
Value: There is good demand for metal shields as they are considered by most to be far more practical than a wooden shield despite the weight.
Availablity: Any town with good merchant economy.

Animal Reeds
Description: Come in two varieties: A hard brown reed shaped like a horseshoe, and the other shaped like a bird, with two large stems that have a series of leaves similar to feathered wings.
Capabilities: When picked and blown into properly, they emit special sounds that alert particular animals around them. For the horseshoe reed, it attracks riding animals like horses, and for the hawk reed, it attracts birds of prey. Those who have a horse or hawk can train them to respond to these sounds, and can use these reeds to call for their pets from long distances if they are too far to call by voice or whistle.
Value: Although they come from a plant and require no real modifications, they are nonetheless fragile and expendible(one to three blows could weaken a reed to the point of uselessness), and the fact that they only grow in the mainland make them hot items in the Tetra Isles.
Availability: If someone is lucky enough though they might be able to find wild grasses growing these weeds. However nowadays they are farmed in private establishments and are hard to find in the wild. Otherwise they must rely on luck to find a store that sells them.

Value: Grown naturally from Deku trees and plants, they are easy to come by and thus cheap to sell.
Availability: Just about any convenience store. You can even pick some yourself if you're in a forest or swamp with Deku plants.
