Kokiri Sword
Description: A small sword that could be confused for a large butcher-knife in terms of size.
Capabilities: This sword is actually lighter in the hands of a small person rather than a large one without losing any of its potency, making it an ideal weapon for short adventurers.
Value: It's usually marketed to small adventurers because of its magic effect. However because of it's effect it is more expensive than the average short sword.
Availability: Kokiri Swords, made by Kokiri, are hard to come by and can only be found in abundance in Hyrule. Otherwise, good luck.

Razor Sword
Description: More of an add-on to a sword, it is an extra blade that attaches parallel to the blade of the sword it is fitted for.
Capabilities: The Razor Sword armament is an add-on that you can put onto your blade to give it greater damage capability. It is a temporary upgrade, however, and does not last forever as it is of a lighter, less durable metal than regular swordmetal, to prevent a Razor Sword weapon from being twice as heavy. It can be repaired by any blacksmith, however.
Value: A hot item for extravagant warriors, some deem it excessive. It is however a fancy piece of equipment that pays a pretty penny.
Availability: Only in major cities.

Hookshot
Description: A mechanical wonder, held with a handle and trigger that releases a springloaded chain with a hook-like blade on the end. It comes in a variety of designs depending on the region it was crafted.
Capabilities: The lengthy chain shoots the hookshot rather fast and strong, allowing it to latch onto surfaces much more effectively than a grappling hook, and has the added bonus of springing the user off his feet towards the surface attached to. Or, conversely, it can bring things back to the user with the same springloaded recoil.
Value: A luxurious item, it's monetary value is high because of its rarity for an uncommon item.
Availablity: Interestingly enough, no official stores sell hookshots. Everyone that owns one has either gotten lucky with a traveling merchant, had it passed down to them via family, or found it while adventuring.

Description: Very heavy boots covered in iron armor.
Capabilities: Upon strapping these boots on, an adventurer becomes almost unmoveable, allowing them to match immobility with a Goron. It is impossible to run in these boots. They also allow one to sink quickly through water as well as press on heavy objects. If used in conjunction with grappling skills/tools, one can have priority in moving an object/enemy.
Value: Although they can be very useful, Iron Boots have alot of disadvantages and are only worthwhile in specific situations. As such, they are not very popular for starting items.

Goron Bracelet
Description: A tight golden bracelet with the Goron tribe symbol etched onto it.
Capabilities: The Goron Bracelet gives the user a small boost of strength, allowing them to pick up at least 30-50 pounds more than normal.
Value: Rather tight for a power bracelet, it is thus not very useful for buffed up adventurers with arms that have a wide radius. Even regular people may have a problem wearing it. Incidentally, Gorons never wear these. Because of these limitations it's valuable to the medium-to-small community.
Availability: can only be attained by Goron Merchants.

Description: A mechanical mouse-shaped bomb about the size of an RC car. Its tail is its fuse.

Deku Leaf
Description: A surprisingly large, magical leaf from a Great Deku Tree.
Capabilities: With a swift swing, the Deku Leaf can fire a blast of wind in whichever direction it is swung. And if one holds both ends, they can parachute-glide off the edge of a cliff to descend safely. However, it consumes its own magic power, and if used too much will revert to the simple skeletal veins of the leaf it once was and become useless. It requires a few hours to replenish its magical power.
Value: Many consider it a silly and/or stupid-looking tool, and thus it is not very popular amongst adventurers. Kokiri, Korok, and Deku Scrubs, however, regard this magical leaf very highly and would pay well for one.
Availability: Can only be found in wooded areas, sold by either Kokiri, Korok or Deku Scrubs, or given by a Great Deku Tree himself.

Hyoi Pear
Description: A yellow pear-like fruit, with three bruises that look similar to a ghoulish scream.
Capabilities: If someone or something eats the fruit from the hands of the user, the user will temporarily take control of the consumer, seeing things through the consumer's eyes and acting with the consumer's body. During this time, the user's original body is in a catatonic state and vulnerable. This lasts for as much as the consumer has eaten, possibly taking up to an hour if a whole pear or two have been eaten.
Value: A very unorthodox fruit and tool that some even consider insidious for the crimes one is capable of commiting with one, they are unpopular among the general public and are thus very hard to come by in the mainland.
Availability: Can only be found in specialty stores or collected from Hyoi trees found only in the Tetra Isles
