A young woman stood in a stable, leaning over the latched door of her horse's stall, stroking his muzzle. Her nickered at her and a small smile came across her lips. He was the only company she had in this place. She felt like such.. an outsider. An outcast. It had taken her quite some time to find an inn who would take her, as she was without a Hylian man to vouche for her. Not only that, but few were willing to board this "demon" horse. A sigh escaped her lips. Had this been a mistake? To leave the comfort of her people?
"No.. it wasn't. They didn't want me there. Just wait, Aodh.."
She looked up at her horse.
"I'll redeem them. And they'll welcome me back with open arms!"
With that, she unlatched the stall door and led the stallion out. She began to tack him up, readying both him and herself for a day of travelling. After about 10 or 15 minutes, she led her horse out by the reigns. Her things were packed into the saddlebags, and she'd replaced her cloak. Despite it being daytime, she really loathed the idea of people staring at her body, mostly the men. Even so, she was still identified as a Gerudo. And scorned for it. But by now she was used to the cruel whispers and disgusted expressions upon the Hylian's faces. Ganon was often born into her race, as the only male Gerudo. Sighing, she kept her eyes down as she led Aodh through the bustling town.

A flash of black, red and white was seen crossing her path. A tall woman who looked nothing like the others around her was watching the Gerudo.
"Finally.." she said with a smile. She teleported out of sight.
This is so exciting! Oh, these Hylians don't understand the beauty and knowledge to be learned! Saisri thought to herself. The Twili was going to finally get the last bit of information needed.
Sai blinked her eyes and was getting a bit of stares of herself. It was odd to see a Twili, of all things, here. And yet she was well known. She put herself in the way of the Gerudo on purpose. She bumped into her, a smile on her face. Her bag fell to the floor, she held on tight to her black metal staff.
"Please, excuse me. It seems I'm a bit of a clutz. I mean you no harm," Sai said in a soft alluring voice.

The Gerudo stopped short as she was bumped into, Aodh in turn bumping into the back of Nuri lightly and nickering at her in question. Nuri looked at the woman curiously.
"It's fine."
The Gerudo saw the bag on the ground, and noting this woman was different than the Hylians, she felt a sort of instant connection with her. They were both outsiders. But she quickly shook this from her mind and knelt to grab the bag.

"Oh thank you, I have some pretty important magical components in this bag," she said swooping them back in. Once the contents were in the bag, the twili tilted her head letting her hood fall off her head to reveal the rest of her fire hair.
"Well, you and I certainly aren't from around here," she said. Men and Women both, even thought most of them knew Sai, they were looking at her bare chest with a hint of disgust.
"These sticks in the mud don't know culture. They weren't too happy with what I wrote about them either. Oh how rude of me. Here I am talking on and on. My name is Saisri. But, you can call me Sai," The twili extended a fine, elegant hand to the Gerudo in hopes of getting a name, and a chance to at least walk out into the fields with her.
How utterly exciting! I thought I would have to bribe the guards back at the desert to get know of one these girls! Remarkable!

Nuri eyed her nervously. Why was she so friendly? It was such a change from the way people had been treating her. Aodh raised his head and let it hang over Nuri's shoulder to get a better look at the stranger. He nickered nervously. Not wanting to be rude, Nuri shook hands with the woman.
"..my name is Nuri."

"Lovely," Sai said with a sigh, "You are the first Gerudo I have had the pleasure of interacting with! You see, I'm a bit of a scholar."
Saisri extended, "come, allow me to me to explain as we walk out of this place. These people staring at us isn't doing much for us."

Who was this woman? Why was she so interested? Nuri was just.. Nuri. A Gerudo who had fled from her own people. An outcast in every sense.
"..alright.."
I hope.. that she does not interfere with my quest.

Sai smiled sweetly. She walked outside with her.
"You see, I'm a mage and a scholar. I study different races and cultures for a journal I'm putting together. Oh course, I'm not allowed in your desert. Which is fine, but I was hindered, you see? I couldn't get the knowledge I seeked. Frankly, what I know about your race is things that other people have told me, which doesn't help."
Sai took out a slim book. "I guess with all this talk about evil.. I fear that unison might be a good idea. I don't understand the hate for your kind or even my own."

"What's not to understand? Gerudo's give birth to a male every hundred years, and sometimes, that male is the shell for the evil Ganon. Enough said.."
The two were out in the field now, the wind sweeping the grass and causing it to flutter. The Gerudo looked back at her companion; Aodh. She stroked him lovingly and awaited a reponse from the woman.

Sai put a finger to her lips.
"Yes, this I have heard," she said softly, "but there must be more about.. your.. culture."
The twili's eyes looked at the horse. On many of her travels she had seen so many of them. Her Hylian friend told her so much about them, their purpose. The Gerudo seemed tied to her horse. Sai made a mental note of this. Humans seemed to like these things.
"I don't understand why others don't like you. Ok, so you have a male every 100 years who is evil.. but.. that is not your fault, yes?"

"Well, he is not always.. evil. It comes at random. And no, it is not our fault. But.. in times of stress people need something or someone to blame. So they blame us for bringing this doom upon them.."
Stray strands of fiery red hair danced in the gusts of wind and the Gerudo finally looked the Twili dead in the eyes.

Sai leaned on her metal staff. Her skirt blew in the wind, revealing her long legs. The Twili didn't seem to care. She sighed slightly. Her lips parted as she thought for a moment.
"Stress. I can relate to you. Certainly, I can," she said, "some of my people hate, well, the Light Realm. A war that happened so long we can't even pin point the tribe that caused us to be prisoners of the Twilight Realm."
Sai looked back into golden eyes. Her eyes traced the Gerudo's face. Their race was a thing of beauty.
"Well, you are skilled fighters?"

"Yes. The desert holds many dangers. We must be able to defend ourselves."
The horse paced in place anxiously, eyeing the field with eagerness. The Gerudo leaned close to him and whispered something, and instantly the horse ceased its fidgeting.

"Well then," Sai said. She blinked her eyes and teleported next to her, "are you on a quest?"

Unsure of the woman's intentions, the Gerudo took a sidestep. Should she share her wishes with her? She didn't know this 'Sai' very well..
"..no. Just journeying.."

"Adventure!" Sai nearly jumped out of her skirt with excitment. "That is my middle name!"
She heaved her bag over her shoulder, "may I ask where? To the Islands? To the ancient temples?"
Excitment was taking the Twili away to all these wonderful thoughts.

"Uh-uhm.."
The Gerudo was slightly taken aback. She wasn't sure if she was up to company in her quest..
"..well.."

"Perhaps I came off too strong. But I'm sure my magical properties could come in handy.." Sai smiled leaning on her staff again.

Nuri blinked and stared at her.
I suppose she would be alright..
But she took on a stern and serious tone as she spoke to Sai.
"Alright. Come along. But should you pose any threat to my goal, me or Aodh, I will not hold back in killing you."

Sai winked.
"I wouldn't dream of it," she said, "I am only your aid and an observer." She continued to lean on her staff.

"Ah, and.. what should we do about your transport? You may need a steed.. Aodh isn't one for always maintaining a slow pace.."
Nuri was beginning to mount her stallion, and she did so with ease. After checking her stirrups and bags, she looked to the Twili.

"Well, I don't usually ride horses," the Twili had a sad look in her eye. "I usually just teleport myself."
"Any ideas?" she laughed nervously.

"..well.."
Nuri appeared to blush slightly and she looked away from the Twili quickly.
"I suppose until we find another alternative we could double."
The Gerudo's arm extended and her hand opened, ready to grasp Sai's hand and haul her up onto Aodh's back.
"..that is, unless you're willing to spend some money on a horse in the marketplace."

Sai held onto her hand.
"No, I.. I'm afraid I would never use it," she said with a smile, "please be gentle with me, this skirt wasn't made for horse riding I'm afraid."

Nuri's blush deepened and she pulled Sai up as carefully as she possibly could.
"Be sure to sit behind the saddle, and wrap your arms around me.."

Sai did as she was told. Her staff however, was a bit of a problem. She only held one arm around Nuri's waist.
"Well, what should I do with my lucky staff?" she almost pouted. She noticed the Gerudo blush, which in turn, made Sai blush. It was highly noticeable on her pale white skin.

"Ah, uhm.."
Nuri really wasn't sure. Why was she even bringing this woman in the first place. Her goal had been clouded, this woman was.. entrancing. But she refused to give up her goal.
"..perhaps this is not the best idea."

Sai frowned.
"No it is," she placed the staff on a small holester on her belt, "that should hold it. I need to find out everything I can about your race and about the Legion Hero."

"..you know of the quest.."
Nuri was intrigued. Perhaps she would prove useful.
