Description
About as human as human can be, Ordonians even have regular human round ears. They wear clothing dependant on the region, as are their skin tones, eyes and hair color. Short hair is popular, even among women.
History
Long ago, much of the southern half of Hyrule was actually a separate nation known as Ordon. Here, humans had regular ears and regular capabilities, living life peacefully as simple farmers. During the Great War, however, many battles bled into Ordon, and because Ordon had no military, the nation was subject to coups from many different sides, which took their villages as their military strongholds and abused their people. It was the neighboring kingdom of Hyrule who sent their armies to liberate the Ordonians from their usurpers. After the Great War ended, it was Hyrule who helped rebuild Ordon and restore much of what it had lost. In time, both nations agreed to become one, and Ordon officially became part of the kingdom of Hyrule. Humans without pointed ears are still called Ordonians as a race even today, and many of their towns and landmarks retain their original names.
Culture
Ordonians are a humble race, most of them consisting of farmers skilled in many forms of agriculture. They are hard workers and seek a simple life, with a family and children. Ordonians began to migrate from Ordon all over the world, originally to escape the threat of invaders during the Great War, and now they can be found everywhere as part of the majority population, second only to Hylians. Ordonians and Hylians are so closely knit that they often regard each other as exactly the same, and inter-racial relationships are quite common(children come out as being either Hylian or Ordonian[having pointed ears or not], as strangely enough neither gene is predominant over the other).
Because of their work ethic, Ordonians are usually the ones who become farmers, engineers, construction workers, blacksmiths, etc., and upper-class Ordonians are actually hard to find. They are held in neither great regard or disdain by other races, and are the most neutral in terms of relations with other races.
Abilities
Ordonians have no real great skills or abilities, which is both their fault and their strength.
Because Ordonians don't excel in any one ability, and because they are known to be hard or diligent workers, they can strive to become whatever they want, and can learn to do it well, be it a warrior, a magician, what have you. You can always rely on an Ordonian to be just about anything.
