Two men forced Elena through a tunnel that lead into a large stadium. She flailed her legs, and thrashed about in the men’s tight grip. They actually threw her into the stadium. She skidded for 2 feet. A stone door slid down to block the tunnel from the stadium. Elena stood up and turn back to the door to examine it. Earlier, Elena’s dog Nyx had been taken away by some man.
The stadium was huge. The field Elena stood on was probably a quarter of a mile long, and eighth of a mile wide. In the center, a small, deep pool of water was placed. Scattered around the field were small walls. The walls that separate the field from the stands reached twelve feet. Stone seats reached a story up, and possibly could seat thousands. The stadium stood empty, except for a closed balcony in which a dark figure stood.
On the opposite side of stadium, a Zora was brought in.

The Zora then stood up, while one of the more hefty guards lowered their lips to his head. The armed man threatened him in an ominous whisper. Although sweating cold drops, the Zora smiled, and let his foot fly through the air and upon the man's shin. He yelped in pain, and with a red hot face, took the cuffs from the Zora's hands. and let loose his leg shackles. As they left, the Zora looked up, frowning at the figure who loomed over the two's heads. Then, he looked at Elena and smiled. With a softer voice than expected, he asked. "Signoria, would you by any chance know what is happening?"

Elena shrugged.
A voice rumbled the stadium by use of magic. “One shall stand and one shall fall. Mwa Ha Ha Ha Now fight to the death!” Recklessly, Elena asked, “what?”
“If you chose not to kill each other,” The voice bellowed. “Then both shall perish at the jaws of the wolfos! Mwa ha ha ha!”

Ewenmar was also startled. The Zora then took a knife, and took the stance to throw it at the dark figure above. Then, he withdrew, and set it back into his pocket. He turned, back to Elena, and spoke. "It seems that at this point, if we do fight, one will have the chance to win. Is not one dead better than two?" He then smiled, bowed, and spoke again. "My name, is Ewenmar. Son of Ewenthar, of the house of Eldinview, of Fedenath-Barduorn. I'd rather know my enemy before fighting them."

“And I’m Elena. Um, daughter of Clayton, a famous dog breeder of Ikana Valley.”
A mental pain grew in Elena’s stomach as she thought of her dismayed faith, and of what might happen to her dog.
‘No! No. I will live through this,” She told herself.
“It’s pleasant to meet you, Ewenmar, son of Ewenthar. Soooo, How do we start this?”

Ewenmar smiled, and groped for something in his satchle. He then took out a small knife, atached to a long and sharp chain. He coiled it around his left hand's glove. Next, he drew his blade, and held it in his right hand. "I'm sorry this is how we must meet." He bowed once more, and got into a sprinting stance. "Sadly, death is not an option for me." He lunged forwards, and threw his chained knife.

Elena dodged the chained knife, and grabbed her sheild for anymore of Ewenmar blows. To get as far away as possible was her goal. She could use her bola in a surprise attack and break his legs, yet Elena did not want to turn her unprotected to Ewenmar. He could easily take her down. She began to swiftly back away.
“You can’t tell me that ye’re this polite to all the lassies ye meet.”

Ewenmar laughed. "Hah! I don't want to kill someone I respect. But, I have no other choice!" He then ran towards Elena. He was running as fast as his feet would allow. That was fast. He ran right up to Elena, only inches away from her. He raised his blade and was ready to swing down, to cut the enemy in half. But he stopped. He jumped back, bringing him to the other side of the stage. He didn't know why, but he didn't want to kill her. It seemed wrong, to murder someone so young. He was 27. An adult, yet she was so short. He was five foot eleven, and she was about five foot four or five. She could not have been an adult. "How old are you, Elena, daughter of Clayton of Termina?"

“Old enough to know that is a rude question to ask, Mister Ewenmar,” Elena said more sweetly then she had intended. Hidden by her shield, she pulled out her knife. Ewenmar had come hazardously close, and he was likely to do it again. Out him running was no choice. “But if you wish to know, I’m 16. How old are you?”
‘30, perhaps?’ Elena speculated his age, but supposed he had been withered by hardships and looked far older then he was.

Once again, Ewenmar laghed, hoping it would hide his stress on killing this, teenager. "I am 28, little child. Might I add, you looked as if you were only 12." He lunged forwards, trying to wipe away his mental block against attacking. He jump up, and landed on Elena's shield. He then rapidly kicked it, stomping with his feet looking a bit like a hummingbird's wings. He dented it once, twice, and increased his stomping speed, not aware that a knife was being drawn.

Elena was hesitant to hurt another human, but with a battle cry, she dilled her knife around her shield towards Ewenmar. She drove her shield towards the ground, in hope of shaking him off of it.

Ewenmar jumped off the shield, and ran back towards Elena. He did not notice the knife, until it was inches from his heart. He tripped himself in a 360-degree manuver, and the knife only scratched his cheek, though deeply. It reached his cheekbone, and scratched that as well. Yelping, he tried to shrug off the pain, and reached for Elena's leg, trying to trip her. He was not able to see, for the tripping move had flung some blood into his eye's, causing them to sting. Badly. He was dazed, this teenager was beating him, but it could have been over if he had not been hesitant earlier.

Elena’s first impulse was to stomp on Ewenmar’s groping hand, but decided against it. She ran. Ran fast. She needed to get faraway as possible. Most of her arsenal was distance weapons. She repeatedly looked back to see Ewenmar’s condition.
"Sorry!" She empathetically called back.

Wiping his eyes, Ewenmar showed them as angry ones. He sprinted, faster than that of the last time, and instantly caught up to her. As if warping, he sprung in front of her, and stomped her foot. Then, elbowed her in the back, just inches away from a vital spot. Regretting that, Ewenmar thumped his own forehead, knowing that he had done that purposely.

A startled howell escaped Elena. From being on the ground to right on her happened in a span of an eye blink. She didn’t ever feel anything as painful as Ewenmar’s elbow that was purposely done. Elena believed that he was going to strike again while she was temporary immobile.
“Maybe wolfos aren’t so bad,” she told Ewenmar in jest.

"Gah!" Ewenmar jumped away again. "You make this fight hard. I can't kill you if you will be so nice." He jumped into the pool of water, trying to think of what to do.

Elena ducked behind a small wall. It was short enough that she had to crouch down. She thought she could feel her insides bruising. She latched her shield back on her back, and took out her bow. Over the wall she hunched. She aimed at the pool. Elena knew she would be wretched with guilt if she killed Ewenmar, but if it was quick she maybe that would ease it. Would she need to give him last rights? She didn’t know a goddess damn thing about religion. She could probably make a prayer up and put rupee on the eyes or something.
“Hey Ewenmar! What is your religious afilation?”

"Religion?" Ewenmar shouted from inside the water. His voice was not muffled, and the chuckles that followed were not either. "Well, you might call me aithiest. At the same time, I do still believe in the three goddesses. It's strange. Why do you ask?" Ewenmar was confused. Why would she be asking about his religion. As a matter of fact, it wa something it had never really ever thought about. It ticked his mind, setting the gears in motion. But he stopped. It was probably what she was trying to do, confuse him. He just let himself aloft in the water, charging his energy. He would jump out of the water, and throw his knife. Whether she dodged it or not, he would then from the air, sprint in her direction, and fling her into the water. One, it would tell if she was good in the water. Two, it would take her time to get back up to the surface, leaving her vernerable once again to his chain. Knowing that it might not kill her, he would instead tie her with it, and then rocket his blade into her. Without remembering to first make sure she did not have projectiles, he popped out of the water, open to her arrow.

“I was just thinking, that if ye give me last prayer or vise versa. . . It’ll come in handy, ye know?”
Letting her arrow fly, she hoped her aim was close. Elena pulled back another arrow. This maybe her last chance to get him.

Ewenmar's eyes widened. He did a summersault, or a smoewhat one, in the air. The arrow missed him, but caught his chain. It whent whizzing right into one of the link's holes, and the force of the arrow sent it comming down hard on the floor. Ewenmar had tried to make himself weightless to soften the fall. ... a bad mistake... The arrows force brought him kissing the floor, while his blade was falling down as well, aimed for his head. Ewenmar dodged that, and with a banged up body, he picked it up, and flung the chain at Elena, hoping for it to tie around her, and send her into the water. Before that action, he replied. "I pray... that I win."

The chain wrapped around Elena, and she grunted in anguish. She tried to wriggle free.

Ewenmar didn't like it. He felt rutheless and coldhearted. He didn't know why, but he just cou;dn't continue for much longer. Even if she was an adult, he still couldn't. It was like killing someone for no reason, she had never done anything to him. He took the chain, and threw Elena into the water, making sure that she went in like an arrow, so that no injuries would be caused. He didn't know if Elena could swim, but ether way, he would hide behind the wall, and wait for her to do the first move. That might just help him with his guilt, if she started the next round. Now that he could have been safe for a bit, he shouted towards the man who started it all. "Why, why do you make two people fight eachother?"
Ooc; You didn't have to let Ewen's plan work... Next time you make an attack, Ewen's gonna' be effected... big time. He's tired!

“For entertainment of course!” The cheerful voice from the looming figure thundered. “I want all do-gooders dead, and If I have enough rupees to provide me some fun, Then why not?” Though it was not heard, it could be seen that the figure started laughing.
Water flew up Elena’s nose. It made her throat sting and her chest ache. She let the full force bring her down to the bottom, so she could push her self back up. As soon as she reached the surface she sucked in all the air her lungs could handle, then blew the air out her nose hard. Water and snot sailed across the pool. She scanned the arena. Gone. Ewenmar was gone.
‘Goddess,” She thought alarmingly. “He’s in the pool.”
Elena had been under water during Ewenmar and dark figure’s chat. She swam to the side of the pool. The opposite side of where Ewenmar hid. Frantically, Elena crawled to the nearest wall to hid and catch her breath. Her hair tie had been lost in the water, and as a result, her hair hung in her face.
OOC: Don't worry about it. Sorry to make the badguy seem sterotypical. I couldn't think of a good reason that someone would make these two fight.

Damn. Ewenmar thought, I can't keep up. What is wrong with this man? He knew, that if he survived this, he would do all in his power to kill whoever was pitting the two against eachother.
"Elena!" He shouted. It was obvious he was panting. "You survive that? If you did, make the first move... it's what I'll give to you... for dunking you into the water." He grabbed his blade, stuck it in the wall, and put his ear on it. If she started to move, he would be ready.
Ooc; I think that this bogie is already pretty bad.... eh, either way, this is fun. I've gotta' challenge sombody after this!

Elena tipped her head back, trying to think. She had a healing fairy, but that doesn’t mean dying wouldn’t hurt. Deviously, she crept behind another wall, closer to Ewenmar’s voice.
“I’m alright. I want to make a deal with ye. If I um, ye know. Will ye save my dog?” Her voice came out in a rasping squawk. “Be the world to me.”
She crept closer.

"You have a dog?" Ewenmar shouted in return. "Well... if you happen to be the one that... then I will make sure no harm comes to your dog as long as I live." The vibrations on the wall to the blade told Ewenmar that she was slowly making her move forward. He was ready for an attack, but not ready for attacking.

Elena found herself behind a wall, nearly next to Ewenmar’s. She bolted towards him. A knife in hand and teeth bared. She knew it was suicidal to run bare bellied to Ewenmar, who was quick and agile, but who was also a man of his word.
Before she lept onto him she stated that “That mighty kind of ye. Any last request for me?”

Ewenmar looked up, seeing Elena ready with a knife. "Agh!" He tried to pull his blade out, but he couldn't. His body wouldn't respond to him as he tried to run, but his mind told him to stay and get the blade out. Ewenmar was stuck. "Request? Just that you give me a chance!" He tried to sound steady, but he knew that he was about to die.

In a strange maneuver, Elena was able to tuck away her knife as she landed onto Ewenmar. pinning him down, Elena planned to give him half strong punches.
‘Here’s you chance!’ she thought savagely, yet there was some humane voice in her head had stopped her from killing Ewenmar right then. Hopefully the voice won’t get the best of her.

Ewenmar flipped around, hoping to knock her off. He got up, took the blade with all his might, and finally pulled it out of it's brick prison. He sprinted to the other side of the field, taking out afew knives. He wasn't going to let that happen again. Or, that was what he hopped. That pounce had sprained something in his side, and it was hurting like some damned creature was clawing out from the inside. Squinting to try to find her, he was ready to throw a knife at any moment...
