Sevant stood and opened his hand letting a gem fall from it to dangle on a thin gold chain. "This." He said, "Apparently it belonged to her mother and not the man who stole it."

"Huh. You feel like giving it back?"
The question didn;t appear to be a moral quiz of any kind. The redhaired swordsman seemed genuinely curious.

"I want my mantle back." Sevant replied with a shrug. "As good a bartering chip as any." He said bouncing the gem back up into his hand.

Sorin grunted in assent, then proceded to rifle the pockets of the bodies that weren't in chunks, picking up a few rupees for his trouble.
"Almost pays for my bomb. Almost."
He then grinned and took a deep inhalation.
"And that covers the rest."

Ignoring the corpses Sevant looked about himself as though gaining his bearings and finally squinted. "Where are we precisely?"

Sorin gave a dry chcukle.
"The armpit of Ordon Village. What one of your kind is doing here, I don;t really care to speculate. Now, something about a grl, a gem and a mantle?"

Sevant blinked apparently surprised. "Ordon Village?" He murmured to himself before shrugging. "A moment." He said returning to the bar. The tender gave him one look then dived under his bar huddling in the fetal position. The Sheikah walked back to his table stepping over the body of the massive Ordonian he'd killed first and lifted the crude clay mug containing his beverage. Swallowing the contents in one extended chug he lowered it then walked back outside. "You seem to have a better grasp of the surroundings than myself, Lead me to her." He said pointing to the puddle of blood that still showed the girl moving down a street though at a much faster clip than before, undoubtedly she was nearing her home.

Sorin merely gave another chuckle, and, favoring his injured side, led the inebriated Sheikah along the alleyways of Ordon Village as fast as he could go with his injury.

Sevant followed willingly enough keeping an eye on the surroundings for any sneak attacks or pick-pockets. Slowly the environment became less and less dilapidated showing that they were moving more into the more proper sections of Ordon Village. The sections where folks were asleep at the time giving them the entire street to themselves.

"You sure that kid came from someplace this nice?"
Sorin's teeth were clenched, whether in pain or irritation, it was hard to say

Sevant shrugged. "You're the one who recognized the buildings in the picture...She might just be passing through I suppose."

"Ugh. Lotta work for a damn cape."
However, the fact of the matter was, even wounded and winded, the two seasoned campaigners were making far better time than the terrified young woman they were trailing, and started to gain ground.

Sevant shrugged. "It would undoubtedly cause her more grief than is necissary. I know it's never brought me much..." He said concealing a wince as his sheath banged against the arrow wound punched through his light sneak suit.

The young woman, still weeping, and barely able to stand upright, was getting closer and closer as the two limped after her.
"What the hell? You didn;t tell me that damn cape was all she had on! Oy! Miss!"

Sevant wished his companion wasn't a blunt idiot then abruptly darted forward catching the girl just as she had taken the first step in what would have been a terrified run. "Shhhhhhhhhhhh." He whispered placing a gloved finger to her lips while staring into her eyes with his own ruby red orbs. "You remember me." He said just as softly. The effect was strange and instantaneous slowly her body relaxed and she seemed to shift slightly from panic to what almost appeared to be relaxation. It was as though the Sheikah were taming a doe instead of calming a young woman...

Sorin staggered closer.
"Nice trick. Bet it gets you into all sorts of trouble."
He surveyed the shivering young lady with an eye that manged to avoid being lascivious through sheer clincical detachment.
"Those goatspawn really did a number on her, didn;t they? Maybe we ought to walk her home."

Sevant glanced at his companion with what might have been described as an 'are you serious?' look. "I brought you this." He said dangling the necklace in front of her face. The girl'd expression turned happy and she eagerly snatched the necklace from his fingers clutching it too her chest under his mantle. Suddenly her expression shifted.
"You...you aren't going too...I mean...you wouldn't right?" She asked turning worried eyes from Sevant to Sorin.

Sorin stared her blandly in the eye.
"I doubt we'd be wasting time talking to you if we were. Now, you look a bit chilled, and no wonder. My friend there wants his cloak back, but that presents its own problem, doesn't it? Take mine. It's a bit smelly at present, but it beats nothing."

The girl looked doubtfully at the blood covered garment then down at the clean though worn mantle covering her now. "Er...." She looked at Sevant with a pleading gleam in her eyes. He looked back at her then to Sorin before sighing.
"Fine." He grumbled shaking his head. "I suppose this means we HAVE too accompany you back to your home." He continued sounding somewhat displeased. After all, it was nearly two in the morning and he wasn't nearly drunk enough. Terrible waste of an hour...

"Excellent. I haven't squired a young lady home since I don't know when."
There wasn't the slightest trace of levity in Sorin's voice... although there was an edge of pain as he favored his side.
"Lead on my dear. For what it's worth, you're safer now than you were before."

The girl gave both warriors a grateful smile and almost started to move before realising that Sorin was injured and spilling blood on the pavement. "You're hurt!" She exclaimed moving to rip cloth from the mantle before a positively blood freezing glare from Sevant forced her too stop. "Er...well I can patch you up once we reach my house." She said in a subdued voice moving to take the lead and heading up the street.

"Excellent."
He favored Sevant with a glare.
"You never get blood on that thing before or what?"

"Not if I can avoid it." He replied dead serious. The girl continued to lead and Sevant followed still occassionally looking around himself for any dangers completely ignoring the arrow hole in his back that must have stung quite badly judging by the continued dribble of blood down his back.

Sevant roundly ignored the curses though with ears as big as his it was unlikely he missed them.
With another fifteen minutes of walking the trio reached a house that apparently belonged to the girl as she traipsed up to it and unlatched the door stepping inside and leaving it open for Sevant and Sorin.

Sorin managed a downright venemous grin.
"After you. I wouldn't want to get my blood on your boots."

Sevant nodded and stepped through the doorway and into the home which, despite being on the safer side of town was still a small place. Looking around he saw no signs of other inhabitants. The girl lived alone then...and didn't bolt her door when she went out in the wee hours of the morning...

Sorin stumped through the doorway and surveyed the place with a critical eye.
"Don;t you worry about break-ins?"

The girl blinked, "Oh...I guess I was in such a rush I forgot!" She said before smiling in satisfaction as the hearth-fire rekindled to a full flame. She quickly dissappeared from the room darting around the corner. Both warriors heard the clatter and clump of drawers opening and closing and in just a moment she re-appeared wearing a blue dress and holding Sevant's mantle in her hands neatly folded into a square with most of the Sheikah Eye staring up from the center of it. "Thank you..." She said presenting it too Sevant who took it wordlessly though he seemed pleased to have the poncho-like garment returned to him.
Opening a drawer of the cubboard the girl began taking out various bottles and a large donut of bandages. "Sit down." She ordered Sorin pointing to a chair, then realising the position of his wound she changed her mind and pointed to the edge of the table. "There please."

Sorin shrugged, and did as he was told. He also removed his blood-soaked cloak and tunic as wellJudging by the scars he carried, he was used to this sort of thing.
