Sevant took the bottle and had another deep drink completely emptying the bottle before leaning back and staring out the window.

Sorin passed the night in fairly uneventful sleep.
He woke up later than he'd intended, more as a result of the massive fight he'd been in than anything else.

Sevant sat in the same position he had been in when Sorin left him with dark smudges under his eyes attesting to a sleepless night.

"Y'know, a guy could get the notion that you're paranoid."
He sat down across from Sevant with a yawn and a stretch.
"Of course, I always figure a paranoid is someone in possession of all the facts... Helen been up yet?"

Sevant gave a short shake of his head as his eyes moved back to the window. "No, But she will be shortly." He said. Though Sorin might not have been able to hear it the Sheikah could hear the distinctive sounds of sheets rustling and the general clatter of a person just waking up.

"Okay, then. I'd toyed with just slipping away, but the poor kid's been through a lot. I figure I can at least go through another hour or so before I hit the road. But I was wondering- where are you headed?"

The Sheikah shrugged. "Haven't found a job yet."

"Well, I'm also at loose ends just now-but I heard some nobleman's looking for help with a Gerudo problem. Interested?"

"Twenty a day, plus a bounty for any we down in the line of duty."
He shrugged.
"Of course, for all I know, he's already hired someone to take care of his problem, but it's the best lead I've got."

Sevant nodded slowly. "Good enough. We can always kill whomever he hired, if he did."

The front two legs of the chair Sevant was sitting in hit the wooden floor with an audible thump as the compact Sheikah rose to his feet putting a steadying hand on the table.
The door to Helen's bedroom burst open revealing the girl dressed in a simple peasant's smock belted at the waist. Even the loose dress complimented her ripening figure proving beyond a doubt that with a couple more years behind her Helen would be heart stoppingly beautiful. Colliding into Sorin she threw her arms around him in a tight hug. "I thought you would leave without saying goodbye!" She said clutching him to her.
Sevant's eyebrow rose again as he watched the strange scene play out.

He glared daggers at Sevant, even as he hugged her back- in his awkward fashion.
"Nah. You've had a bad enough time already, Helen. Anyway, I never slip out on women I don't sleep with..."

Sevant merely shrugged as Helen tightened her grip on Sorin before releasing him and dabbing at her eyes. "Would you like some breakfast before leaving?" She asked busying herself with getting the hearth-fire up to full flame.

"By saying no." Sevant said in a low tone after Helen had turned her back to the duo busying herself with the normal routines of making breakfast. Within minutes she had eggs and ham simmering in seperate cast iron pans and was happily prodding both with a fork.
"It should be ready in just a few minutes!" She said turning to put out glasses along with cold milk and a red juice.

Sorin kicked Sevant under the table.
"Be. Nice. I'd just as soon she didn;t change her mind and decide to call the guard about those guys I blew up."

"As if we couldn't take her before she could draw breath to scream." The Sheikah muttered in reply having retracted his foot with enough speed that he had completely avoided Sorin's kick.
Turning his dead gaze to the array of beverages laid out before them his features settled in a heavy frown upon seeing that there was no alcohol among the choices.

"I don't know how they do thigns where you come from, Sevant, but I generally don;t shit where I eat."
Sorin belted back an entre glass f juice in one long pull.

The Sheikah shrugged his shoulders easily. "I have not eaten." He whispered with a ghost of a grin.
Helen turned and quickly laid out three plates. It was clear from her expression that she hadn't heard a word of the whispered conversation. "It should be ready in just a minute." She said giving Sorin a big smile that lessened greatly when she turned it to Sevant. It was as though she could tell he was ambivalent as to her ultimate survival...Rather odd considering he had fought nearly every goon in the town just to save her virtue.

Sorin smiled back at Helen, even as he observed Sevant out of the corner of his eye.
Hope he's not completely nuts... 'Cause I WOULD end up her "hero" if I had to fight him. And quite possibly dead in the bargan.

Fortunately it seemed Sevant little intended to carry out his threats. Perhaps his mutterings had only been the first signs of a black humor?
Whatever the case Helen quickly had the three plates heaped with eggs and ham. She sat down across from Sorin and gestured to his plate. "Eat!" She demanded waiting to gauge his reaction to her cooking.
Sevant looked down at his plate and frowned pushing it away and chosing to pull some herb from a pouch on his belt. Slipping the gnarled root in his mouth he began chewing stolidly apparently deriving all the nutrition he needed from the strange plant.

Sorin more than made up for Sevant's reluctance by plowing into his plate like he hadn;t seen food in weeks.
Which was actually pretty close to the truth.
Certainly, he hadn't had home-made eggs and ham in ages.

Helen started in on her own plate completely pleased with Sorin's reaction. Clearly she hardly cared what Sevant thought as she was enamored with Sorin.

Sorin followed up the destruction of his plate by looking over to Sevant.
"You gonna eat that?"
Not even waiting for a reply, he dragged the Sheikah's plate over and started demolishing Sevant's portions,
